Dima Al-Khatib
UNDP Resident Representative to the Republic of Moldova
Ms. Dima Al-Khatib (Lebanon) serves as UNDP Resident Representative to the Republic of Moldova, as of 24 March 2019.
In her role, Ms. Al-Khatib is the UNDP Administrator's representative at the country level, and head of the country office being ultimately responsible for the quality and sustainability of UNDP interventions, including corporate policies and procedures.
Prior to this appointment, Dima was the Programme and Policy Coordinator at the UNDP Regional Hub in Amman since October 2018. She also served as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Kuwait (September 2013 - September 2018) and the UNDP Deputy Country Director in Libya (June 2012 - August 2013). She has also assumed several functions in UNDP Headquarters in New York, the last being Regional Programme Advisor (September 2007 - May 2012) working with the Regional Bureau for Arab States and preceded by her function as Human Resources Manager with the Talent Management Group of the Office of Human Resources (March 2005 - August 2007) and as Sustainable Energy Specialist (August 2004 - March 2005) with the Bureau for Development Policy. Dima was the Environment Programme Manager in UNDP Lebanon (January 1997 - August 2004) and the Environment and Public Health Specialist with the UNDP Lebanon Reintegration of the Internally Displaced Project (February 1995 - January 1997). She has also worked as a Health Education Specialist at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Public Health (July 1993 - August 1994), Public Health Specialist with UNICEF Lebanon Water Quality Assessment Project (February 1990 - June 1993) and as Public Health Specialist at the Lebanese Family Planning Association (August 1989 - February 1990).
Dima holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health from the Lebanese University and France University of Bordeaux II. She also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Teaching Diploma in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut.
She speaks English, French, and Arabic.

Andrea Cuzyova
Deputy Resident Representative
Ms. Andrea Cuzyova (Slovakia) serves as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative to the Republic of Moldova, as of 22 July 2019.
In her role, Ms. Cuzyova steers strategic planning, programme formulation and partnership engagement in UNDP.
Prior to this appointment, Andrea was the Head of Secretariat of the Regional UN Sustainable Development Group for Asia-Pacific located in UNDP Regional Hub in Bangkok, Thailand, until July 2019. She also served as Deputy Resident Representative a.i. in UNDP Sri Lanka (February 2019 - June 2019), Head of Resident Coordinator’s Office in Bangladesh (January 2012 - July 2014), Head of Resident Coordinator’s Office in Kyrgyzstan (January 2008 - January 2012). In UNDP Headquarters in NY, she held the function of the Policy Specialist in UNDP Bureau for Development Policy (January 2006 - January 2008). Andrea was also the Knowledge Management Officer in the UNDP Regional Hub in Bratislava, Slovakia (2001-2005).
Andrea holds M.A. in European Integration from the University of Limerick in Ireland and M.A. in Russian and English Studies from Comenius University in Slovakia.
She speaks English and Russian.
